Licensing and Technical Studies
We are working through the environmental and structural permitting processes that will form the foundation for the pilot plant.
Strategically located within the Export Processing Zone (ZPE) of Uberaba, our plant will occupy 70 hectares and incorporate cutting-edge alkaline and SOEC electrolyzer technologies — ensuring both efficiency and global competitiveness.
Investment: R$7.8 billion / €1.242 billion / US$1.390 billion
Total Capacity: 820 MW
Annual Production: 124,325 tons of hydrogen / 689,000 tons of ammonia
Expected Return (IRR): ~15%
Licensing and Technical Studies

Pilot Plant Implementation (20 MW)
Initial setup of production infrastructure focused on validation and performance testing.
Validation and Expansion (200–600 MW)
We will increase capacity to supply key sectors such as fertilizers and transport, while validating the production hub with an eye on export potential and energy chain diversification.
Full Operation at 840 MW
Final milestone with full-scale production capacity of green hydrogen and ammonia for the global market.
With the production of up to 983,000 tons of green ammonia per year, it is possible to manufacture fertilizers capable of supplying over 6 million hectares of farmland.
Replacing fossil fuels with green hydrogen can prevent the emission of up to 1.8 million tons of CO₂ per year — equivalent to planting 130 million trees.
The annual hydrogen production can power around 250,000 fuel cell buses per year, boosting sustainable urban transportation in all world wide
With enough volume to export up to 1.2 million tons of ammonia per year, the project positions Brazil as a strategic player in the global energy transition.
The project will use high-performance electrolyzers (alkaline and SOEC), integrated with intelligent control systems and powered by solar and wind sources — delivering 100% clean energy. The modular structure will ensure scalability and operational flexibility.
H2X Minas Gerais will become a benchmark in sustainability, helping decarbonize industrial value chains such as transportation, steelmaking, fertilizers, and mining. Additionally, it will boost regional development through training, income generation, and innovation.
Over 2 million tons of CO₂ emissions avoided per year by replacing fossil fuels
Billions of Brazilian reais moved annually across sectors such as construction, energy, transportation, services, and industry
More than 2,500 direct and indirect jobs during the construction and operational phases
Export of green energy to Europe and Asia, positioning Brazil at the forefront of the global energy market
We are building one of the largest green hydrogen and ammonia initiatives in Latin America.
